The year to be...2012

The mystery awaits you and I
how will it possibly be?
The rants grow louder
Their resolves become stronger
Souls awaiting a long slumber arise
'So what will occur?' they say
for You and I

They ponder and chant
The apocalypse is near
And the world shall burn
'What answers do ye seek?' they ask
Their theories are confounded
conflicting and dumbfounded
Tears flowing down a cheek

Their plans for the world are grand
Creating grass from where once was sand
But 'tis only a flicker
As their voices get louder
The anxiety rises day by day
'What will become of us' they say

Flashes in the night sky
Sandstorms by Day
The factions widen
Awaiting for Him to say
As the prophecies unfold
And unleash the righteous day...

Hall'o'Ween

The veils become thin tonight
Energy levels rise
The Saints are revered for divination
Or is it just pagan lies

The Pumpkins are cut open
and the children trick or treating
while the wiccans lie in wait
and have their secret meeting

A secular feast they say
for the open eyes
but its the one eye that sees
and knows the reason why

Samhain or reformation
Damned be their lies
yet the children are amused
with laughter in their eyes

Jack'o'lanterns be wary
in their halls you could be caught
floating away into dementia
or maybe materialize into a random thought

The Dream Call...

You’ve seen it coming all along
Its just like Déjà vu
Now I know it’s you!

Sitting splendidly with fingers entwined
Offering a drink smelling of thyme
Whispering “Have this, ‘tis sweet Lime”

The feeling is strong, but something wrong
The doubt curtails leaving one perplexed
Wondering if you’ve been hexed

Can this source of happiness exist?
The questions are asked without feeling
Hence the answers come without any meaning

The smile is gentle
You disappear away into the fade
Leaving the other so vulnerable and afraid

Still that voice is so refreshing
The gentle pauses make it interesting
And the faint laughter sounds caressing

You wake up from the slumber
Saddened to discover it was only a dream
Making you wonder if you could redeem
Only a glimpse of what was just seen..

Reverence

He entered the garden and headed to a flower-bed
Beautifully and skillfully arranged
Artistically and Aesthetically arranged

The Gardener only knew the art and science of it
Its colours, its shape, its shade and beauty
Eternally it was to be His duty

Its distinct aroma and fragrance was like no other
Pleasing and enchanting to the senses
Surrounded by vivid and surreal fences

He stood there smiling with wonder
Awestruck was he as the public walked by
Ignoring the beauty that laid by

Man is in a hurry chasing worldly pleasures
Surely it is destined for a short time
Pondering and plundering - no more a crime

He picked up a few flowers
And created a mixed bouquet
As a homage to both the Gardener and His garden

Unending Dreams

Sunkist laughter night and day
Colours abound and out in the fray

Whirlwinds of shapes, speed and prism
Tiny to the eye as a shiny microcosm

Checkered and crossed in a bright lighted tunnel
Falling into the fathoms of a huge white funnel

The windows crooked under the starry sky
The moon in its hiding as the cloud tries to pry

The faces of the trees all tired and weary
The scales of the dragon would ignite a fury

The insanity grows as the doors begin to crumble
Tonight is a night where one cannot fumble

The torches are lit and the fire burning
The blades of grass swaying and turning

Perplexed is the mind of those who claim sanity
Throughout their lives boasting with vanity

It all seems aghast to those present now
Things from the past you never knew how

Dreamscapes and Nightmares are here forever
Exit and escape to which you shall gain never

The Questioner

Far away from the distant lands
Riding through the scorching sands
Came a Questioner

Long had he searched for the answer
Boasted with a midnight dancer
For the question of truth

Scholars and Kings tried
No answer would be justified
Until he heard the rumour of a stranger

The rumour was looked upon
The question would soon be gone
and he made his way soon into the town

'Show Me' where He is now?'
'I wish to see Him if He would allow'
'Show me' the Almighty if ye Believe...

The smile came upon the stranger
His calmness showed no sign of danger
As the stranger pointed to the sun

'Can you see Him with the naked eye?'
'No.. thy cannot even look up into the sky'
Straight into the Sun..

What is this disgusting Pun?
You show Him to me in the blinding Sun?
Surely you lie....

The reply was swift
And it created a rift
Which was soon set aside

'If thy cannot see the Created...
How can thy seek the Creator?'
came the reply

The truth made his head hang low
As the questioner touched his brow
And silence fell upon the town
